About Pearl River
The Pearl River School District is located in Rockland County, New York, approximately 20 miles north of New York City on the west side of the Hudson River adjacent to the New Jersey border. The District educates students in grades kindergarten through twelve who reside within district boundaries under the auspices of the New York State Education Department.
Pearl River student performance ranks among the top performing schools in New York State. On average, 99% of the senior class graduates each year and 97% continue on to college or university. Pearl River graduates gain acceptance into many of our country's finest schools.

Enrollment Boundaries
The Pearl River School District covers most of the hamlet of Pearl River and portions of Orangeburg, West Nyack, Nanuet and Tappan. Only children residing within the District boundaries are eligible for enrollment into the Pearl River School District. Out-of-district residents are not accepted on a tuition basis. Because district lines cross over into other towns, we strongly advise checking with the District to confirm your address before purchasing a home or enrolling your student.
